Veer

I read about this agency in this month's Digital Photo Pro magazine. "They specialize in high-end market by pushing the envelope of creativity with its imagery."

Some really funky images there - I'm inspired! :)

I've seen their catalog. Check the fine print -- I think they may be owned by Adobe.

"They used to be Solus and were bought by Veer who is a large media company from Calgary" according to the article I mentioned earlier. I think I'll send 'em a submission request and see how it goes ;)

I sent my submission application today. We'll see how long they take and what terms they offer.... I will try to keep this thread updated.

PS: Could SC move this thread to stock please?

I'd just like to clarify for those interested... Veer is a privately owned and operated company based in Calgary. However, there is certainly a connection back to Adobe. Many of the founders and other employees at Veer have worked for Adobe in the past (as part of Image Club Graphics and Adobe Studios). We also have a history with companies such as EyeWire and Getty Images.

We acquired the Solus agency in November 2003 [1] and have been continually revitalizing and developing our own rights-managed (Solus) and royalty-free (Fancy) image collections. More information is available in the company backgrounder [2] and this particular press release [3].

I hope this helps explain a couple of things.
