Ok fist thanks to all of you who have commented on my image.... I knew something was wrong with it when I submitted it but could not put my finger on it. WELL THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT PEOPLE WHO BOTHERED TO COMMENT I KNOW NOW.....
I took their advice and now the image pops.....
I am ready for Take Two II.
Thanks to all the folks who comment on ho hum images.

Yup but did not take long for people to figure out what was wrong with it. Just one more example of how great this site is.

I remember someone in the past suggesting the he/she was going to leave a comment on the first 20 entries in the challenge, no matter which ones they were - and suggesting that others do the same. With the smallish number of entries in the challenge, that's proving to be quite easy to do without risking not meeting the 20% mark where votes count, even for people who are time-poor. Maybe a significant number of voters have had the same thought?
(There's one or two in the first 20 that I haven't commented on yet, but that's because I'm still thinking about them - I will before the voting ends.) |

Comments really are the best thing about this site for me, as it gives you someone else view on your work.
When i take a shot and sometimes PP it i get too involved to see the overall look, its good to have someone neutral to point out 'this is crap', 'that bit's great', etc.
So helpfull.
