IMO you made your skin a little too perfect...you look out of place compared to the child. Unless your skin is that way naturally, I believe it is overdone.

They're all very good. But if I had to choose, I'd pick the first and the last.

Nice work :)

I liked "Mother & Son_5" the best

The last one on the right.
They look like siblings. :)

Mandy- I hate to be a... well poopyface. And they're great pics! But you're barely smiling in any of them! What mom's really want is to see their babies (even when they're 31!) truly happy. You look great- your son looks great and the images are fantastic!
Now go photoshop yourself an authentic smile!!! ;0)

I think I agree, let her decide. I also agree...add some features back to your face and give her a big smile.

I was thinking y'all were siblings, too, with how smooth your face is... I agree with the editing suggestions, but I love the last one. I like them all, but the last one is my favorite. :) Excellent job.

PS Your editing's very clean, I must commend you on your skills, but I think it's just a tad overdone- but this technique does work in some instances. :) There's this book caqlled "The Glitterguru on Photoshop: From Concept to Cool" that talks about styles of retouching: Reality Retouching, Plastic Surgery and Fantasy Retouching. You probably should have stuck with reality, and I think you might have creeped into the plastic surgery category. :)

Let me reiterate, though, that your photos are lovely. :)

Too cute!!! I love it. :) All of your shots from that shoot are great. Love the colors-- and I looked at your portfolio, you have a knack for portraits. Wish I had an ounce of the talent that you and others on this site have. :)

If I had to pick I'd say the last one. How big do you plan to print it? I'll be curious to see which one you end up going with, too. They're all good, can't really go wrong.

I'm with the "Let Mom Decide" crowd. Taste and preference is a very personal issue, and what we might suggest might not even come close to what you mother prefers.

I would almost bet that you mom would want a copy of each and perhaps a larger copy of her favorite. (Personally, I prefer the last image)
