| I was at the arboretum today, and I bumped into someone taking senior portraits down there. Anyway, he had a 5D, and he said he was jealous of my 30D. Why???? |

Maybe it was the faster shutter speed? Apart from that i really dont know

He wishes he paid what you paid? ;-)
Seriously, the 5D is probably the ultimate tool for portraits, so I don't know whay he'd feel that way, unless he misses the feeling of additional reach for telephoto work, or unless he's feeling the bite in additional storage space and processing horsepower needed for 5D files. |

Maybe its the pop up flash and the fact that it is lighter?

I thought I'd read 5.5 at some point.
30D is newer than the 5D - he just envies the newest stuff.
