I was getting ready to drive to the Amsterdam Arena to see the Rolling Stones perform, when the news came: ROLLING STONES POSTPONE AMSTERDAM CONCERT

The Rolling Stones announced today (Tuesday, August 20) that their concert performance tonight in Amsterdam Arena has been postponed. The band has already performed 5 concerts in Holland, playing to over 180,000 fans in the last week. The show was postponed under doctor's advice that singer Mick Jagger rest his voice, due to a sore throat resulting from a cold.

Mick Jagger said "We are sorry to disappoint the fans who were planning to come to tonight's show. We will be back in September to do the gig - and will give you a Stones show you'll not forget!

"I will be suitably recharged, recovered and fit for Saturday's kick-off of the UK dates at Twickenham stadium, in our home town," Jagger added.

Now I will have to wait till (22?) September, sad sad sad :(

Maybe that week there will be a "Performace" challenge on DPC... then you will be happy happy happy :)

Unless he can't bring cameras in, then he's gotta be sneaky sneaky sneaky to win win win.

Is that a F717 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Not much chance to win with a F717 anyway. From where I was supposed to sit they would have been a few pixels high (even with digital zoom)

Seems like they postpone, postpone, postpone a lot. I know of three concerts that they postponed and yes, it is sad, sad, sad. Maybe it's because they are getting old, old, old....but, even so, they are still awesome, awesome, awesome! :)
