Hardly sounds fair!! I got the 4th worst score and I still move into the next round.

Won't happen in the 2nd round, my entry is worse then my first round entry. Unless my opposition didn't enter??

Beaten by almost a whole point... OUCH! :-) It was a great shot Bazz, congratulations and best of luck for the rest of the Tournament!

Well folks, it was fun while it lasted. Can't wait to see who takes it all. :-)

Well, Larus said (all week) I had to beat my highest score and I equalled it - spooky!

That is pretty cool. You rise to the occasion!

Jaysus, my 6.247 is good enough to beat 7 of the winners, sigh... And I had to draw Nasti! Congrats to her! I see Larus lost with a 6.77, bad news for him as well!

Eh, you win some you lose some, I did the best I could in the challenge so my hat´s off to Andi, good luck in the rest of the League. I am still going to try and "play" in this thing on my own, going to see how my entries would have stacked up against those I would have played if I had gone forward :)

oh...he just had the scores switched. i beat macpapas by .016. yipe!

but, like i said, i'm ok with forfeiting. i couldn't enter this week. i dunno what the rules are...

Ya sorry about the score switch.

Hmmm, I didn't post any rules about forfeiture. In my head I was going to be happy enough if someone forfeits BEOFORE the results. I will discuss with Qart whether he minds if macpapas moves on.

Yep, Rikki's right, I couldn't get a shot off this week (per my comment in an earlier LoD2 thread) - I had three potential setups and all failed to come to fruition. I couldn't get "official" permission on my first two shots (fire department, preschool teacher), and my third fall back idea flopped as my model(s) decided not to work the coffee shop on Mother's Day - they are usually there EVERY Sunday, argh - the nerve! :-) Sorry, no entry - I was initially relieved when Muckpond beat me.

No, if it's double-fault, Qart gets a bye. I don't see any other fair way to implement it.

As a note to people, I know life gets in the way, but we did make a committment here. Just because a hard challenge comes along doesn't mean we can all turn tail and run. I give full props to artan who shot something despite physical pain.

We'll see how much more of this goes along, but I will note that when the bracket was invitational there were no missed entries until the final four when ursula apologized profusely for having had no time to shoot.

Do we get credit if we at least attempted to play the game but sucked at it?

:-)

Congrats to Lev, by the way. And Ian, hope that ankle is feeling better - whatever did you do?

UM, 'scuse me. Life got in my way too. I could have submitted a dog portrait, which is what I spent the better part of yesterday doing, but its not my style, photographically and challenge wise. So, if the rules are as I think they are, then Hopper would advance in my place? He would be a better competitor anyway. :)

i don't know the rules either, but I wouldn't feel right about advancing - I was just kidding. You beat me like a red headed step child (which i actually am, so it's twice as funny)

Ecce Signum should just get a bye, right?
