Pop by your local college/university's bio lab. It's amazing what people will let you do if you ask nicely.

Man.. I've gotta make sure that's somewhere down the line in my curriculum. I thought the skull from my organisms class was good... Those pictures would be much better!

i made my own in 1992 ;}
took me quite a long time. i u sed a photo from a national geographic magazine as a guide.

it's terracota - fired and dunked in house paint.

Very cool shot, wonder if you could do a long exposure with some light painting and fog as mentioned. Nice post processing.

the teeth are held in by some bone, little ligaments and the gums so the loss of this will cause them to be gone from the skull but also you can tell there appears to be major bone loss around the base of the teeth. I'm guessing this person did not take very good care of his/her teeth. The bottom front (his) right also look like there was some trauma to it but could be mistaken.
