I know I have seen this somewhere but cannot find it. Has anyone posted instructions on how to use one image as the skin for another. ie use the picture of a lemon and impose a human face on it or visa versa? Thanks. |

Don't forget to use the 'opacity' slider to get a realistic effect. Also try using some different blending modes to make it more subtle.Originally posted by Bobster: have a play with layers and have fun ;) |

are you meaning make a lemon look like it has a face, or make a face look like it has lemon skin??
For lemon skin, I'd put the lemon layer behind, and erase parts of the face at 25% opacity on the eraser tool, until the pattern you want shows through as an initial step. Probably have to play with cloning, dodge, and burn also....

You can also use displacement maps for what I think you're trying to do.
