a thumbnail of a challenge entry in your bio? Kinda like how Leslie (goodman) does it.

I tried using the same technique as the portfolio thumbs but it doesn't seem to work. ANy help? Thanks.

You mean clickable? I have my Team Outcast in my portfolio page which works that way. Just use type in the code like this (minus the spaces in the brackets) and edit the urls:

[ url=//www.knology.net/~scottwhid/standing.htm][ img]//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/30861/orig/310749.jpg[/ img][/ url]

no i know how to do that but i would like to insert my fave challenge images in my bio... clickable of course

Ok look at my portfolio. I just added one of my challenge entries in my bio section. Is this not what you want?

Umm, I already told you. :) Just add the code I provided above and remove the spaces near the brackets and then edit the URLs. Don't use the [thumb] but rather [img] and spell out the entire URL like how it's actually shown in my code.

dude i tried it but i couldnt get it to work... when you inserted your cat image... what code did you use? the one above doesnt seem to work.

You know how you insert clickables in threads? Why don't you act like you're going to do that and then copy that code and put it in your profile?

that doesnt work for challenge entries since they are stored in a different file structure

Easiest way is to open a browser window, and go act like you are going to comment on an image. Then using the forum code, do this:
Click on your image of your choice (in a new browser window) from your profile and copy the url, then in the pretend comment, use the hyperlink and paste it, and when promted to name to link, just type XXX for now. Then from your profile page, find the thumbnail, right click over it and select copy image location, then go back to the pretend comment, drag over the XXX and paste it in. Then cut the whole forum code off that pretend comment and paste it into your preferences page, bio section, then close the pretend comment page you cut it from.

Ok I am posting my thumbnail here. Now quote this post so that the code shows up in your reply window. Copy that code and past it into your bio as is then test out to see if the image shows up. If it does then start editing it so that it shows one of your challenge entries instead. I've found you have to enter the entire URL and not just the image ID like you do in the forums. However when you quote someone in the forums the code they use is spelled out and that's how you need to enter it in the profile page. Hope this makes sense!

Probably a good thing Rikki figured this out now so when he loses his next bet to GIS_Boy he'll be able to place that bat man stuff in his bio section as well. :P
