In the spirit of "team suck", (thanks Posthumous) I am putting out a formal call for members for 'Team Mediocre'!
You know who you are... those that consistently get 5.3, 5.4 and almost have a stroke when their score sails over 6...
I'll be developing a logo and interview questions soon!
In the meantime, here's the logo:

| dood... hook me up... I'm as mediocre as they come... I had actually thought about beginning a series of images that I was going to title "Studies in Mediocrity". |

Seems to fit me also although after my last challenge Team Suck had their scouts calling me so I might have to see which one has the better perks. :P

I fit the description very well, but I do not feel like a mediocre photographer. I know I am not the best, but I saw lots a pictures that rely on photoshop to get on to the top. I do not have photoshop and I do not know how to use it (i try GIMP instead, but without luck...i do not realy know how to use it)....so my pictures are mostly out-of the camera, some crop, contrast and brightness....
and oh, do I have to mention that I do not have the best camera?
so I feel that with the "equipment" that I have and with the little time that I can dedicate to photography (2h/week)I am not mediocre!
just don't count me in. and I think people do not have to give up easly, saying "yeah, i'm in, i'm mediocre". those that already answered are not at all mediocre! don't give up guys!

I think it's all just tongue in cheek. Btw, regarding the photoshop comment, we all have to make due with what we have available. I'd love to have studio equipment but all I have is my flash gun. As a result many of my images are way underexposed and are noisy and I have to photoshop them just to get to what I would call a starting point for actual post processing work. Others that have the equipment and the know how can just apply minimal PS or none at all and produce a fine image. Life's not fair dammit! :P

I missed out on suck, although I think I am more mediocre. I missed out on Leaque of Death, but not sure I qualified. And I got dq'd and a horrible score in the first round for the MS challenge. :)
I'm ready to enter into Mediocre, for sure.

hmm... you're almost too good based on your average score to be in here... but I'd be honoured to draft you anyway. Can't promise I'll keep you though if you keep getting 6's... and as far as I know there's no 'team amazing' to get traded to yet :-)

Average score 5.4***, anything nearing 6.0 and I start to feel I am the ribbon winner, anything below 5.00 I feel like killing myself for having submitted a crappy picture!

Ahhh, c'mon. Well, my free study is currently a 6.3, but my photojournalism is about a 4.8...LOL. So that evens each other out. My overall average in my profile is a 5.4? So I guess I am middle of the road. LOL..I haven't gotten 6's in a while, and if I pull this one to hold in free study I will be amazed. :)
Oh, just read your other message! Cool! The logo :-/ is on my shirt right now! :)

| You should make this a team in the WPL. Of course, I don't even think I'm good enough to be considered mediocre. |
