Me! - Wacom Intuos 3 (9"x12")
I use it mostly for drawing but do use it for editing sometimes.

I don't have one yet. I just upgraded my computer, and my next purchase will definitely be a Wacom.

another fan here. I even prefer using the tablet's mouse over a regular one. The pen is AWESOME for making fine selections.

Wacom Graphire 3, I love it. Of course I'd love an Intuos but I really can't complain the Graphire, it is very capable.

Plus it's always nice to see the awe and respect in the eyes of friends and coworkers when you pull the tablet out and finish an edit in 1/4 the time it would have taken them.

I have one but the table I have my computer on is too small to fit both comfortably, so I don't use it.

I use it, a 6 x 9 Wacom intuos 3. I use the mouse that came with all the time and the stylus and shortcut buttons for very detailed editing. Especially when I do layer masking and edge editing. Worth it, but not to die for unless you edit very delicately for things larger than the 640 pixel size here on DPC.

I've had a Wacom 4x5 since 1995, though I pretty much only use it for Photoshop retouching and masking functions; I still mostly use a mouse or trackball for general purpose operations.

I have the Wacom Intuos 3 A3 wide, I like it a lot. But if I could choose again I would go for a size smaller. Nasti has the Intuos 3 A4, which is really enough. It does the same job but takes up less space and is a whole bundle cheaper too.

I have one, and use it all the time, but didnt have the money for a real one so I settled for Trust.

boy, thats a big one! whats the footprint? the A4 is bigger than an A3 sheet of card, you must have a big desk ;)

i have a small wacom, but could never get the hang of it.

now that i have two monitors, i'm further constrained in that it considers the entire surface of the tablet to be the entire 2-monitor-wide desktop, so i'm stuck trying to do all of my editing on one half of the tablet. gross. i hate it.

I don't have much desk left with that monster on it :) Trust me to always want the biggest of everything. I had to buy an extra small keyboard to put to the side of it so I don't always have to reach way over the tablet all the time :)

I have one and I use it always. Hard to keep my husband from using it as a coaster though. ;) I think mine is 6X8? We are a two mouse family, me being left handed...

You might want to check the setup prefs or the help section or Wacom tech support -- I'm pretty sure there's a control to tell it how you want to handle a dual-monitor system.

I, too, would like to know whether or not there is a way to configure a two monitor system so that the tablet only worked on one monitor (the one with the image to be edited). I was about to look into the $50.00 deal at B and H, but this two monitor issue concerns me.

The first result on google for "wacom dual monitors" is //www.photo.net/equipment/wacom/ which says under driver options:

"The mapping options let you set how the tablet relates to your display and offer a lot of flexibility. Here you can set the tablet to cover all or just a portion of your screen area; this is very useful if for example you have a small tablet and dual monitors since you can set the tablet to only cover one (or even one and a half) of the monitors. I would also strongly recommend that you set the aspect to "proportional" rather than "to fit": whilst the first option may waste a little of your tablet's real estate, the second will cause your strokes to be distorted - a circle becomes an ellipse - and precision goes out of the window."
