Friggin liberals are at it again. This time they want to start naming hurricanes with more black sounding names.

Once the group that pushed for the all-gay public high school catch wind of this we'll soon be having hurricanes with gay sounding names!

I can't wait till Hurricane Guadalupe Lupito Sanchez de la Garza comes to town.

Very good article...
"I think people like Lee – American black political leaders – have basically run out of things to complain about. Now they are grasping at straws to show institutionalized discrimination and bias where none exists."

Reminds me of what Al Sharpton just said about the "white" media disregarding his candidacy.
Why not just the media? It has to be the WHITE media?
Why do ppl that claim not to be racist always managed to bring race into everything? Serious hypocrisies going on these days... LAME.

its ok to be a racist.... as long as you are NOT a white male

The only way to get over the race barrier is for people to stop and forget about the past and move forward. I have .... Have you???

"Thanks Kathy, and now to Bob with the weather."

"Right Brenda, well it looks like big ol' Hurricane Laquisha has gone and whupped the coast of South Carolina upside the head like she done when she caught Dwayne in bed with Latonya, that hibbity dibbity padonkadonk butted bitch from 11C. Jackson County officials say that approximately $11 million in bling bling was destroyed in the aftermath, second only to that time when Typhoon Shaniqua opened up a big ol' canna whupass all over that hoochie mama Kauai in 2004 like it wuz a smackdown. Back to you, Brenda."

Yeah, I'd like to see that...

James.

I remember when hurricanes all had female names. Men didn't complain and want equal billing, women's groups wanted to share the blame, hence, every-other hurr/himm/icane was female/male. Why would anybody lobby to have a devastation named after them?

Without giving an opinion about what is wrong or right on this issue: even though this is in the rant-forum, why would someone bring up a subject like this on a site that is about photography?

To stir things up a bit. Why else? You really want this site to be just about photography? Would get kinda stale, IMO.
