Since our first outing was so successful (In other words, nobody got hurt or arrested, and we had a great time), another one is in order.
In the last thread we had discussed Coney Island. We could tie that in with Brighton Beach and the Aquarium there as well. I for one would like to see the place before the last of what's left of it from the glory days of 50-100 years ago either falls down or is bulldozed in redevelopment. And who among us can resist seeing the site of the final scene from "The Warriors". So let's come out and play.
If we do this it might be better before Memorial Day. So, how does it sound? |

| Hmmmm.... I'm not sure my car is up for a trip to northern Jersey (I don't drive IN NYC), but a train ticket will be out of the question until I get my Canon paid off. |

if you make that in June I might even come :)
can't in may, got my finals may 2-8, a weddingshoot may 13th, graduation may 16th, and a Confirmation shoot may 21.
so I'm booked through may ;)
my birthday is june 9th so I could make it then...

Why not? Drive right to Brookyn just don't look for parking on Coney Island on sunny summer day.

I wouldn't worry too much...here's some reasons:
1. Coney Island ain't NYC...it's right off the Belt, no crazy street driving cabbie freak outs.
2. My family has ALWAYS gotten our registration out of state, mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, and Colorado (where we have willing family members). None of us have ever had problems.
3. Park closer to Brighton Beach, which is safer, easier, and less chaotic. It's also off the Belt too :)
As for me, please add me to the list as a tentative...this semester is pretty rough, but I luvs me some Coney Island......

Me = In. Is there any chance we can push it to end of May / start of June? Me and a few others have finals until then.
I've always wanted to join the NY GTG's but could never bring myself to plunge in >_<

Saturday 5/13 would prob be good but Sunday 14th is Mothers day.
June is after Memorial day, which would make things way more crowded and overrun.
And what's with all this studying. I never let finals get in the way my weekend plans. Guess that explains my 2.7 GPA
