My fingers ached and hands cramped-up just watching it...

Great Technique the kid has. Sweep & Double picking arpeggios!
He has some satriani but mostly I hear
Yngwie Malmsteen

The kid is playing an ESP Guitar a "Shredders" Best Friend!

Joe Satriani

He's playing in Austin on April 28th, with Eric Johnson. See site for other tour dates in other cities... I saw him already with Eric and Steve Vai on a G3 concert. Exceptional dude.

That was excellent. Agree with the Yngwie comparison!
Also agree with the other comment about TSO.

Will be playing that for a couple of my music loving friends.

Goodness... where did you get the MP3?
03/30/2006 08:37:22 AM · #17
It's available on fileshare networks.

You can also download a different(original?) version from here.

I can asure you all that in Japan (where i think this kid is from) I see so many talented musicians that can play like this and AS a musician myself it puts such a HUGE smile on my face. This kid is awsome simply because he can do it without a bit of effort it is so natural to him..

BUT...I bet he is not in a band yet.

See a lot of that in Japan too.. many great talents that seldom leave the bedroom for various reasons, shyness, work, school.

Guitar is an EPS as said before totally for this style of guitaring.

thanks for the link

I'm guessing this is based on some original production. Who did the original?
03/30/2006 12:00:30 PM · #20
Seems there this guy, JerryC, from Taiwan who put together the original. Check out his videos (he has other pieces.

I felt like such a dumbnut because it sounds so familiar and I couldn't place it. I hate when that happens.

What is this?

I mean, it's INCREDIBLE and I was blown away, but the nagging "I KNOW THIS" is driving me insane!

I may be mistaken, but I think it is "Canon in A Minor" By W.A. Mozart.

A fresh spin on the piece, i've played the quartet too many times to really desire to play it again. He's got some talent, pretty clean playing and a good amount of technical stuff. Cools.
