I've been looking for a good case that I can carry around my camera in. I own the canon brand case specifically designed for the g3, but I'm not too happy with it. The bottom of the case screws into the tripod mount of the camera and a cover snaps onto it. I'm looking for more of a pouch type case that's independent of the camera.
The g3 is a bit bulky because of the lense, so I know it will need a bigger case to be able to fit. I'm hoping to find something that's not too huge, but just the right size.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

Are you ONLY going to carry the camera or do you some room for other things?
I got the Lowepro Nova Micro through ebay from Henry'sand have been happy with it. I carry the canon tele lens and adapter along with my G2 (lensmate attached), spare battery, memory card, lens cleaner, remote, and a filter. I like that it's padded well, has a zipper AND a top clasp (I use the clasp mostly because it's fast but I like having the zipper to make it more water resistant). |

I use a case designed for an SLR by (Acapulco). It is a soft case with belt loops and straps. The G3 sits perfectly in it and it also has room for extra battery, memory abs things like the remote.
I think this is like the Lowepro but probably cheaper. |
