Hi everybody

i just found an old, no a VERY old zeiss ikon camera in my house, However the viewfinder remains black no matter what i do. (yes the lens is clean)
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this camera, and how i could fix this problem!!

Thanks soo much :)

Just do it.

yeah, see there in lies the problem.

the camera is an slr however it has a fixed lens, which you can attach other lenses onto. So entry through the from to fix the mirror is out of bounds. So far the awsome dpc community is failing to answer my question.

"how do i look through the viewfinder!!??"

I owned one 35 years ago but it has long since disappeared. Was a very nice camera in its time. Mine didn't' have a fixed lens though. Used pentax mount lenses. Sounds to me like the mirror may be locked up.

Or may have actually fallen off. Not unheard of in those days. Dies it rattle?
