I know dodging is allowed in advanced editing but what about dodging stars that are barely visible. Just how far can I go? (I know I cant create stars that weren't there but I'm wondering if I can dodge stars that would otherwise only be visible if I excessively brightened the image)

I cant post the image here because I'm entering it in water II.

i don't see why that would be a problem. as long as they are present in the original.

I live next to the sea, but we rarely get "seas of tranquility" - Seas are rough and full of monster Killer Whithe Sharks - Nothing Tranquil about it.

I DO however imagin a dam of tranquility - :-)

If they are there to start with and you enhance them, you should be OK; just don't go painting in a few more or anything ...

If you want a more diverse and specific opinion, make up a composite with the before/after versions side-by-side and submit it to the SC as an attachment to a Ticket. If anyone thinks it might be illegal they should let you know.
