Hi,

Can anybody let me know whether Selective Desaturation in acceptable in Basic Editing Rules?
As I needed to remove Red and Blue completly and submit the photograph to a challenge comes under Basic Editing.

If you do it without making any selections, yes. In other words, if you apply hue/sat adjustment to an entire image at once, and just completely desaturate the blue, cyan, and red channels, that's legal in basic.

Thanks for the info.. still I've one question..Can I just desatuate Only Blue Channel for the entire image.

Yup, you can.

YES you can do selective desat, but no spot-desat
