ok. I was trying to think of a new topic so I hope this hasn't already come up. Anyway. This has got to be mine since it was taken in the middle of a busy intersection and I was laying on the ground as a car almost ran me over.

I think your exploits are well known and NO ONE needs to encourage to take more dangerous pictures!

Attached with a lifeline to the deck rail on the USS Blueback, photographing a research device in state three seas. I was using a 4 X 5 Graflex with a polaroid back and trying to keep it from getting wet and not lose my footing as each wave swept over the deck. The camera did not get wet.

This one was my most dangerous shot to date. For one thing, I was trespassing in someones yard, then I had to climb down a very precarious deck overlooking the waterfall, which was not only snow covered but icy, then I had to lean over the edge to get the perspective of the water wheel and the rocks far below. Needless to say, my heart was racing and I did not know I was trespassing till I got back in my car, and there was a huge no trespassing sign.

I tried to shoot a prostitute in a window "office" in Antwerp red light district near a port about 15 years ago. I just lifted the camera and tried to compose the shot when she got out in full working outfit (you know, lingerie and high hills :)) and ran after me screaming. I had to ran for cover as fast as I could. It was quite a scene, my friends had a great laugh. Unfortunately, no picture to show...

It's not the best shot ever, but it was rather dangerous... I was hanging off over a cliff (with my mother yelling at me =]). I nearly lost my balance... oops.

This was surely my thoughest situation in the Arctic, face to face with a furious Sled dog, resembling a Tundra Wolf

This is mine..not so much dangerous to my body but spirit. I feel that anytime you try to spread the word of Jesus, satan will try to attack your spirit...just my thought.

A huge and deadly gopher snake!

This dude looks harmless enough but he was walking through a maze of black market diamond buyers and sellers that aren't too keen on posing for photo's. Some of those guys were mean....paranoid...sleazy and not too thrilled by my presence. The image was taken as a joke and maybe not worth the risk of getting my camera smashed.(btw the PP and the sectioning was a joke too)

I followed the guy on the left around for a block or two because he looked like he was up to no good. He was ranting around, violently the whole time and this particular moment was inevitable. They had a nice little mano-a mano but trucks and cars got in the way and this was the best I could get.

...Bring on Iraq
(if it weren't for all those beheadings....I'd be there)

Well, this one's handy and I know it's just a flower picture. But teetering on the side of a pond, with plants here and over there, and with knees that don't work so good anymore, and dodging water shadows, and for goodness sake do not have to get fished out of the pond at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers! (They'll never let you in again!)

Do not underestimate the difficulty of an innocent flower pic.

This was probably my most dangerous photo to take:

I didn't get too close though - used the 400mm of my 100-400 lens. The snake also was not moving very fast - I think it had just eaten something and was too full to move.
