The light was grey and gloomy @1/200 sec F2.8 ISO 400 @200mm ,

If only I was a bit faster @ 1/100sec f2.8 ISO 400 @200mm

The show down @ 1/100sec F2.8 ISO 400 @200mm
Handheld 1/30 sec F 2.8 ISO 200 @200mm

Overcast light rocks for shooting birds. Much easier to keep the highlights from blowing out.

I got a nice shot of a bald eagle this morning, but am not sure how to post it to this thread. I just added it to my portfolio. Comments welcome.

I really like the one with the flapping wings. It seems to have a bit of a bluecast though ... nothing you cna't fix with post-processing though. Good work!

I think I screwed up. I did not mean to be rude by posting my eagle shot to this thread. SORRY.

I do like your bird pictures, but do not feel qualified to make technical comments.
