I was offered a job and just wondering if anyone has done anything with them before.

I will be shooting with them this weekend and will be in training. He said it was up to me on how long I was in training and that if I did good enough that it would only be for this weekend. I guess I will post after the weekend just curious to see if someone had worked for them in the past. Supposable they are the largest mobile studio in America. I am purely doing it for money so if it doesn't pan out with good pay I will leave.

neverheard of them, their website seems weak for such a big company as they make themselves out to be

They are the folks who set up little kiosks in the local grocery store to set up appointments. I think they have a pretty low standard of quality, but then again they don't charge much.

Thats one of the worst web design i have seen, at least for a big company like this, and look at the preview pictures, they dont seem be the best.

That's what I was worried about. I asked him much the pay was and he said the photographer last weekend got $200 for about16 hours of work, and about $800 just the week before that. I just don't know. I'm supposed to have my training this weekend and they are only going to pay about $125. He said it was up to me on how long I stay in training...if I catch on to what they want then he said it could be just this weekend. What would you do if you were strapped for cash and something like this came along?
Thanks
Clint

All you've got to lose is a weekend. Whether it works out or not you'll walk away with $125 and possibly an opportunity to make some more money.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Yea, the only thing we had planned for this weekend was to go to this huge flea market in Canton, TX called "First Monday" Hope this turns out to be good for me and not time wasted.

Horribly boring…if I hadn’t left when I did I’m pretty sure I would be in a coma right now. Mass studio portraits, I guess, is not my bag. I stayed from 9 AM-3 PM and shot 10 groups…about 100 shots. I would never do something like this again…unless BIG money was promised.
