I am curious if there's a WAP version of the site available for mobile phones.

I've thought about making a request in the Site Suggestions folder a couple times about making a mobile friendly version of the site where you can at least get (and update, if you're a member) your score, get a textual listing of the winners, and maybe even the last forum posts.

For a website about photography, its use will be limited, but at least us score addicts could get our scores.

I have a BlackBerry, so with its advaced browsing abilities I can load the home page, and see my score, but the extensive use of java breaks 99% of the site when mobile.

I have a Treo650 and I can see the site just fine when I use my phone while not at home.

How much more than your $25 per year membership would you be willing to pay to get dpc on your mobile device?

I agree - step away slowly and put that keyboard down :-)

Although, as a computer programmer who worked for 10 years before buying a computer and to this day has no mobile/cell phone, you might want to take my advice with a lump of salt :-)

Shouldn't this be in the You Might be Addicted to Photography thread ;-)

Seriously... the addiction is getting a little strong. But, it might be nice... at least my butt wouldn't be so attached to this chair.

I see that some of you guys got the wrong idea.I don't have that much time to sit in front of my PC and just surf the web. I'm quite busy during the day going to courses and study, and I thought that it would be nice to check my scores once in a while on my mobile phone. :P

heh...it's all in fun man. We're saying you are addicted because you're sitting there in class thinking about what your score on DPC is...get it now?

Just to set the record straight... I did NOT check my score several times during the GTG.
Some people talked about photo´s they had made and we used my pocket-pc phone with very slow gprs connection to show them around.

I only checked my score once, and that was because somebody asked me what my score was. I am NOT addicted.

But DPC IS my homepage on my phone... LOL ;)

I have thought about this as well. I would mainly use it for reading the forums, but it would be nice to check my score as well.

Not addicted just showing a excessive compulsive attitude
