TRAITOR!

J/K man. :) I have an '02 325i in Electric Red. You'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands. :)

Good luck selling. It's a great car.

You gotta get the Tundra! I had a Tacoma, then "upgraded" after totalling it. I love my Tundra... big truck, but not too big. I wouldn't trade it for the world!!!

What year Tacoma did you have? I like the size of the redesigned 2005 and 2006.

A Tacoma double cab is an Awesome truck! I personally would get 4x4 with the 4.0l engine:)

Sell the car, and get a 1988 Toyota pickup.
The leftover cash can be spent on L glass!
I mean, any vehicle will get you around, but they all depreciate.
L glass will improve your photos, and keep it's value.

'twas an '01... Totalled the sh@# out of it! :-) I can personally attest to their safety... I walked away with a small scratch on my leg and an airbag burn on my hand. Granted it was a standard cab, but I immediately went out an purchased a new Tundra extended cab just prior to them releasing the quad cab :-(

It's definitely a beefier truck with tons 'o power. Got the V8 Limited edition 4WD. That was 4 years ago and it still runs like new. Pricey, but well worth it!!!

Nice! I have the 2005 double cab 4x4 with the TRD package and love it. 0-60 in 6.4 seconds, amazing off road capbilities, a better ride then my wifes 2004 expedition and 20mpg.

I would get an older truck, but I need the double cab with the longer bed for the family. I can't squish my 4 and 3 year olds into the back of an extended cab.

Prior to 2005 the tundra was a much better truck then the tacoma. But unless they re-designed the tundra for 2006, the tacoma blows it out of the water now. With all the options the tundra was much cheaper then the tacoma when i bought mine, and the tundra didn't have many of the same bells and whistles available. Unless you don't need the extra size the tacoma is all around much better.

By all means, get the quad cab, not trying to talk you out of that one. My access cab is nice, but a little cramped (could barely get a carseat in, but I managed), just trying to steer you towards a "real" truck ;-) If you're gonna get a truck, get a truck. The redesigned Tundra quad cab is an excellent truck. More room for kids, cargo, etc. than the Tacoma.

We already have a big car though, a 2004 Dodge Durango. I kind of wanted a truck that wasn't too big, but bigger than the BMW. I think the Tacoma fits me like a glove.

Makes sense. Regardless, it's a Toyota, you'll be very happy with it. Great trucks!!! If you want, I'll make you an even trade... your beemer for my tundra? ;-)

The tacoma is an awesome truck...I looked and looked and looked, and couldn't find one for the same deal I got on my 05 ranger ext. cab 4x4 4.0L...They just won't budge on the toyotas...I paid about 7 grand under the sticker on the window...couldn't pass it up...I had a ranger previously but had the 3.0, I wanted more power, and I got it.

It is always nice to purchase something through a community setting where someone has been a member for a period of time. In my opinion it adds a little trust to the transaction. Plus I figured you nice people would like an opportunity to purchase a great car at a good price.

I don't see the harm.

Looking at that listing makes me ache for my long-since-sold 1997 330is BMW. Gawd, I loved that car, I really did...
