Ok, I have a tattoo. It's a rose on my chest... it's one of the many things a chick scammed me into doing. By the way, a tattoo on the pecs is so painful it should be illegal... or a fetish. hehe

So who here has some body art? Anything particularly cool? Or painful (which is always cool)? Post pics!

where's your photo? I don't have a tattoo... not allowed to by my parents... and yes Iknow I'm legal age... but they would write me out of the will... very much not worth it! So lets see your photo... I do love tattoos though... I think they can be really cool!

I've got my rising sign, moon and sun sign on my shoulder. Took me five years to think of the design I wanted. Not from a flash book!

Well time to make my confession....

I have a scorpion, tarantula & a tribal design on my right arm...a bracelet on my left wrist...a medievil war axe, indian feathers and a wolf head on my left arm...a dagger on my chest...an american flag and an eagle on my right calf...and a full back tattoo of a wizard

They all hurt, just some more than others

I was sort of "anesthetized" for my first one (over 20 years ago) and fell asleep. When I had the color retouched a few years later, clean & sober, I didn't have ANY trouble staying awake! I'd still get another if I liked the design, artist and had the $$$, tho.

I just have one low on my ankle. The tail is actually on that soft skin on the back of your ankle. It was a little uncomfortable, but didn't really hurt. Only the white coloring hurt a little.

Dolphins and turtles are my thing. The turtle is next. :)

Don't have any yet, plan to get them as soon as I finish all the designs. Done the artwork for 2 and working on the third. The biggest one will be solid black, covering my left delt all the way down to mid-bicep. The other two are words I've taken and made designs out of them. One will be on my upper back right. And the other down the left side of my torso.

I have a couple of them - one of Road Runner and one of Wylie Cyotte on each arm. Not painful at all.

LOL

I don't have pierced nipples or anything, but I stabbed myself in the palm of my hand with a pencil when I was in 5th grade... The lead is still in there. Consider it a very small, solid tattoo-piercing all at once. I was ahead of my time and didn't know it.

By the way, I spent 12 years in the Navy and travelled all over the world... no tattoos. Some people are baffled by that.

I saw a the coolest turtle tattoo on Fear Factor that I've ever seen. It was a tiny turtle just below her navel with 4 or 5 airbubbles going up and around one side of her navel.

It's the only tattoo I ever thought wow I love that and want one. Then I think when I'm old and grey...I don't want tattoos being a girl and stuff soooooo I have none. Just my navel pierced.

I have two tattoos and here is the story. When I had cancer they gave me five little green tattoos so they could aim the radiation at the exact right spot. One of them was right in the middle of my chest and looked like a large green mole. When I got to be a ten year survivor (ie "cured") I had blue stars put over two of them. I'd do all five but damn it hurt! I was 50. The reasoning is that you might not want that tatto when you are old and grey but I AM OLD AND GREY.

I got really trashed when visiting friends in Ottawa and decided that was the night to get a tattoo. I picked out a happy face. Luckily the tattoo artist realized how wasted I was and refused to do the work.

Recently, while sober, I've been thinking about getting one on my ankle - a little dive flag.

and a pentacle on my ankle

and even though the one on my arm is much larger, the one on my ankle hurt like hell!

i think that so responsible of the tattoo artist,
we recently had some builders in my workplace and one of them had the worse tattoos imaginable, his friends had left him at the tattoo place when he was very drunk,

but from the work it looked like the "artist" must have been far more drunk., and maybe his first time inking someone
