We went to a Ren Faire a couple years ago, and the people who parked behind us were laughing. They asked us if we knew the people in the car next to us. We said no and were wondering why they would ask. Well, when I went to get the car seat out, I realized that the licence plate next to us said SLO DRVR. (slow driver) Our plate says NOT2SLO. Just a funny coincidence.

Best license plate I ever heard of was issued in New York: TIHZ WA. If you're wondering what that is, write it down and hold it up to a mirror.

I dont think I'd get anything of a score if I submit license plates showing Chinese or Thai words... so I'm not really interested with this suggestion. :-/

I don't think so--I took it in Berkeley. That's what makes it so funny.

Close anyway :-) "yabut men'ya" is what the Russians say, but I guess that is too long for a licence plate.

A "cute" licence plate set I saw a couple of weeks ago was a motor home from California (all the way in Atlantic Canada!!) It's plate was
ROVIN
It had a Honda CRV that it pulled behind it. The CRV's plate was
ROVINTO

Aw, so cute!!!

If I had the money for a vanity plate (for my '84 camry with 250,000 miles on it) I'd get UOKOLE. Hawaiian scholars out there?

and...how about the guy my husband knew who wanted "U LOSE" on his tags, but when they came in the mail, they said "U LOOSE" ! (He couldn't spell!)

This isn't a licence plate, but closely related. Sorry for the poor quality - it's a busy road. (You can get t-shirts with this on it.) Click here

Think it means something regarding 'Death is coming eventually'?

Back in the late '60s (when these plates first came out) my mom had one which read PAID IV.
