Please have a thought for us beginners with this one. I am currently still learning to take a semi good shot with the light shining on the subject - will battle to get this one, but hey - fun is in the trying - I do have an idea - getting the idea was easy, but putting it into practice is going to be interesting.
Maybe I must take photos of my setup (will definately consist of a couple of my wifes stuff from the kitchen, some electrician tape/cellotape, some glue and wire.) Usualy these contraptions I make fall to pieces while I try and take the photo.
I've entered two challenges thus far - Second result seems like it will definately be higher than the first. Got some good advice which I will put to the practice in the third one.

I thought this would be difficult. However, I never realized how many shots I took that have backlighting before once I learned of the words back lit. I think if you look through any shots you may have taken, you will notice the same.

Be careful with your wires and contraptions. LOL...Especially for backlighting. It is a "basic editing" challenge, so nothing can be manipulated to remove non major elements.

Luckily I will not even know how to do much more than basic editing. Leave the advanced editing for the pros.
It is easy to look through your photos and seeing photos that would've been perfect for a challenge - problem is trying to take one now that will fit a challenge.

Anyway - Think I will have some fun - worked nightshift - won't be able to sleep today - must try my idea first. Most likely get a mouthfull from thew wife for disrupting her kitchen and turning it into a studio.

It is true actually. LOL.. It's funny how we take them nearly every day, but when you NEED to take one, there is a rut.

Well, good luck with the challenge and the kitchen!

A beautiful, beautiful shot. Good thing you didn't enter it though; the challenge description specifically says "ni silhouettes" :-)
