Introduction to New Members: This could be a way of all New Members being able to feel welcomed, and take away the fears of the unknown. I recently joined, and have thumbled and made mistakes a few times, and not sure if I was doing things right. Even though I am not entering challenges due to health reasons, I still enjoy everything the DPC has to offer, so thank you so much.....You are all doing a great job, and giving people like me the chance to spend many happy hours exploring wonderful images, that one couldn't take in a lifetime......Thank you so much.

We must get you something.

What health reasons keep you from entering? If you don't mind me asking. If so that is fine.

My life has had a purpose. I was born with a disability, that to me, it has never been a disability... I was born with Short Stature, or more commonally known as Dwarfsism.... I am married to another person of short stature, and my husband is also my carer, and the love of my life. I am now in my fifties, but life has been so good to me. I have studied art with two diplomas, and I am a qualified Computer graphic artist, ticketwriter, as well as majoring in Art Studies with ceramics my number one love, apart from photography.

My health has deteriated these past twelve months, due to a number of conditions. I have arthritis in the spine, hands, and fingers, also Rhumathoid, (not sure of spelling) Austio arthritis, plus Bone Degenerative desease re dwarfism. I also have Sleep Apnia, as well as Aspiration, ( Difficult breathing). I have quite a number of other medical problems, but I cope extremely well and love life.

I just love this site, and don't know what my days would be like without DPC. Thank you for asking and love hearing from any DPC member, especially any from downunder in Aussie-land, Australia, as I live at the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.....

My name is Sherryl Johnston - re Sherpet and for short, a pun their, I am often referred to as Shez.....

My email is sherryljohnston@dodo.com.au

If anyone would like to contact me. I don't won't any sympathy, as I just love life and DPChallenge site. I can't beleive that i have done 1476 comments, wow that unbelieveable..... Yeh, I ROCK!!!!!!

Thank you so much, you have made me cry, happy tears, so thanks to you and everyone who has recently contacted me. Remember, I am only a small part, ( another pun) a very small part of DPC, as each and everyone of you are equally importent to DPC. I am just one in a million.

Hi there, Shez, nice to see another Queenslander!
I am currently in Seattle, USA (plus I grew up in Germany), but I spent 19 years in Brisbane and very much consider myself a Brissy girl.
We'll be over here for another 18 months or so, then back to Oz.

I'm glad you found us - it is so nice to have the world at your fingertips via internet and DPC, it's the next best thing to actually being there.

Thank you so much for all the contributing you have already done, and a big warm welcome to you!
