I've seen around here that there was a post about this before. How females get annoyed that the seat is left up, and how the males get annoyed that the seat is down. Is it really an issue with couples living together?

For me personally, up or down, I don't care as long as there are urine stains on the toilet seat. Like my mum, she's 41 and perfectly fine more or less, I don't like how she goes to the loo. She'd leave the door wide open even if there's guests (well almost all the time). Then at times, especially when she's got her period there would be a droplet of water mixed with blood. I usually have to end up wiping the crud off.
Then my brother (19), especially when he's drunk, would never be able to aim.
Am I ranting? I think I am... maybe I should have put this in the rant forum. Oh well, what's you're view? Any toilet habits that get on your nerves?

i dont care if its up or down.

my beef with toilet seats in that women insist on putting those furry covers on the lids. those covers often cause the lid to fall down in mid-pee, so many times i have to hold on to the lid to make sure it doesnt drop while im doing my business.

LMFAo.... I absolutely hate that... especially trying to catch the damn thing mid-pee.

Well...if you prefer urine stains on the seat then you must prefer it down all the time so your man can dribble and splash on it.

My friend told me a story about the time her ex-boyfriend came home drunk, went in the closet and used the cat's litterbox.

That's whay I almost always put both lids down. I have 5 dogs and I don't want them drinkin' out of the toilet.

Also I put both down so both people have to do the work (both people have to lift the seat that way). It's only fair ;)

Most women kick and scream if the toilet seat is up. Their reasoning (at least what they've told me) is so they don't 'fall in'.
Here's my question, if men check to make sure it's up, why don't women check if it's down?

Amen sista... with three sons, I don't even worry with the up-or-down battle...if I can just go and not find pee dripping down the front, sides, back, or anywhere near any part of my body might touch the commode, I feel like it's a good day.

That's not a duck...

...so long as it's "a commodius place".

Mine is when someone pees in the thing before we go on a week long vacation and doesn't flush.

Oh dear, I think that's a Freudian slip! Well, I meant it as "... are no stains..." Lol, served as a good belly cracker for an afternoon message. I guess things like that are prone to happen when I'm terribly tired and still awake way past my bed time.

Personally like to try to see if I can clean the stains off the inside with pee :-) LOL... you decide if I'm kidding.

I'd say SO... On one active thread you're talking about unwarranted erections in taxicabs, on this one you're discussing menstrual blood in toilets, one has to struggle to remember what one's daughter was like at your age LOL.
