Okay all you digital art folks. Interested in seeing what you can do with this photo? I shot this last February and just couldn't bring myself to delete it because of the beautiful wing spread on the female cardinal. Anything goes and you don't have to worry about making it legal for a dpc challenge. I'm curious to see what everyone can do.
Mine almost makes your eyes hurt, but I like it. :)

Wow, I just copied and pasted. That didn't work. :( I'll try to resize the original again...

Edit: Once again I prove that I don't know what the heck I'm doing.
When you guys rework others' photos, how SHOULD I resize it to allow you to do that? Do you just upload the original resolution and file size?

I'd love to work with this but I need a full size original to do it justice. It's possible that a 640-pixel square crop of the bird alone with some of the surrounding area to border him would work, or e-mail me the original; my mail's on my portfolio.

We cross-posted; we usually just work off the 640 pixel version, but in this case the bird fills too little of the frame. If it's serious work we send each other the originals.

Man, you guys. I'm dial-up...and originals never go out...just kind of sits there and then the phone rings and I have to start all over again. I even have a program that's not supposed to knock me off line. Ha!
Anyway, I just sent a version to bear. If he thinks he can work that, I'll send it...or maybe if I talk real sweet to him, he can forward it. ? :)

i'm going away for the weekend so i may get time to play with this at my friend's house......too many ppl at the party = linda locked in puter room. send me an email i can send the file to if i finish it there. i don't know how to put a pic on here yet
