I took this picture just over a year ago in Churchill Canada... it's my favourite picture out of god knows how many I took! Sadly enough I cought the edge of someone's arm on the side... Any one any ideas on how to improve the picture...?
I've got Adobe Photoshop version 5 but I haven't used it very much and I only seem to make things worse.
All suggestions welcome.

Maybe try cropping some of the edge off and burning in a slight border to help mask it.

I did a quick fix and added this border in Photo Album 4

See, that's why people shoot RAW.

With some work, it's possible to ressurrect the RH portion of the pic. Here's a take...



Working with the small file introduced some artifacts, I'm sure better results would be possible with an original. The most problematic area is the lower RH corner where the bear's fur gets some really funky coloration and becomes a little posterized.
