Hi Everyone
For those of you who are not satisfied with their current e-mail provider, may I suggest googles gmail. Its free, it has a fantastic spam catcher, tons of mail/file storage space, huge attachment capabilities, and many many more options.
I have "50" invitations to give away if anyone is interested. They will send you the invitation, you look it over and decide if it has what you are looking for.

Isn't that the one that scans your e-mail messages for keywords so that advertisers can "target" you?

I think everyone knows about GMail already.
don't advertise. It's annoying.
And yes. I already have GMail.

I have a gmail account, 2 actually and never use them.
i did the sign up with your mobile phone the other night to get my second account.

Gmail is THE fastest email provider out there; not to mention easy to use and read. |

I've never seen an Ad on Gmail to date. I have a ton of invitations to give out also. My gmail is in my profile.
I almost NEVER recieve spam, unlike hotmail and yahoo, and my ISP account.

Hrm. You must have a special account. There are ads down the righthand side for most gmail accounts. |

yeah, the ads appear when you open a email to read, all the way to the right as mk said and under the title "Sponsored Links"

I don't mind those ads. They are mostly just text, so they don't distract your eye or slow down the page. Google has to make money somehow; is it right for us to expect such an awesome service to be totally and completely free? |

To remove those adds, if you use Firefox, you can use the extension
CustomizeGoogle Firefox entension
Besides those adds are not as irritating as the graphics adds with other email providers

I use mozilla thunder bird, its just like outlook, it downloas my email for me from gmail and i never have to use the gmail interface, it works great.

I use Outlook to read my email from gmail and never see the ads either.

It's easy to avoid the ads by using a pop3 client like microsoft outlook or thunderbird as your mail client for the account.

| I don't think the issue was that there are ads. I think it's that google is reading your top secret private information and stealing bits and pieces to be used in the vast governmental conspiracy!! |

of course, if you use a pop3 client then you negate the benifit of having web based email, ie, you can't take them with you to any and every computer...
