can u show me some pics that are obviously dark before post processing and its edited version that turned out nice?

did u get that?

note: I cropped the "bright" one before, so it looks abit different.

Is this along the line of what your asking?

Do you have a shot you want brightened up somewhat ? I looked at your busalshots and it looks like many of your photo's have black or night time back grounds. If you want a shot reworked, post it and someone will take a shot at it

no i was just thinking how far you guys consider a dark pic...

is every photo worthy of resurrection? even though you think that you made a mistake taking it

I wouldn't say every photo is worth resurrection. Sometimes it's worth trying though just to see how far you can go to bring something back or to learn what to try next time in camera.

For example, if you're finding that a lot of your shots are too dark, next time try for more exposure, either by using a larger aperture (smaller number) or longer shutter speed.

I think this is a perfect example. I definitely try to improve most pictures I take.
