I have had my 350D for about a week now and last Friday, we actually got some snow here in the UK. Really early for us!
Anyway I went out for a drive to see if I could get some nice landscapes and these were my two favourites...
Post any comments/criticisms as it was my first real outing with the Camera! They seem to have gone a bit grainy during resize and upload - the originals are much better!

I also shot these just before the snow arrived. Did a bit of processing including de-sat and USM...

love the first one best. Very nice. We hope to have snow here in Illinois later this week and I hope to get some posted...none like yours though. Nice job.

| First one is the best. Wish pic 2 was a little more wide. 3 and 4 are overdone to my eye. Have fun getting to know your new cam. :) |

| I love the 1st one best, very pretty, here in Brisbane, Australia we don't see any snow! Don't really like 3 & 4, not sure why, and 2 needs something. |

Thanks guys...
Pic 1 was my favourite too. I have pic 2 with a wider angle, though the foreground was not as interesting as the mountain itself...
Pics 3 and 4 are a little overdone, though that was the look I was trying to achieve - kind of grunged a bit! I was more or less expecting people not to like them much...
I am enjoying the learning process with the new camera :-) |
