We're getting our first real snow here in upstate NY. We've got about 3" here in Central NY but Buffalo is expecting 3 FEET. So, post your pretty pictures of snow please!

We usually have only one day of snow a year, and this was last year's day:
I have some others here if you are interested. As an aside, the lake in all these pictures is 100% dry today...it's such a shame we've had such a dry year. :(

| havn't got much snow up here in alberta yet but got a thick coat of hoar frost, got a couple nice pics but don't know how to post them on here yet, new to the site |

Some shots I took today to see what my MF Micro-Nikkor 200mm's bokeh is like. First snow came in this weekend.
Edit: Took a peek into my archives and found some shots I took last winter in Ylläs Ski Resort (Finnish Lapland). Taken with PowerShot S1 IS.

Not the best shot, but I took it as I was heading out the door today (it's the view from my driveway).
Probably would have looked better if I took it when there was a little more snow (on Friday). |

We have been known to have very large falls Al, not in recent years though.
Beautiful scene there in the Brecons.
