Just wondering if the site council could show us a breakdown of the computer type (Mac or PC) that visit DPC. that way we could process our photos leaning towards the majority?

that may be helpful towards questions on edit images, we would know which platform each other is on.

maybe putting this option in the profile page where you add your camera info at.

I actually would like a breakdown of the total of DPC users. they can detect which platform which resolution etc that the users are on.

Why would photos displayed on Mac be that much different from these displayed on PC?

Two different users could have their monitors set with totally different calibration/gamma settings, regardless of mac or pc.

Edit to say that 'screen resolution' would be quite relevant. If 1024*768 is popular, then there may be some advantage to landscape orientation over portrait in challenges.

Actually I would say a big chunk of people on DPC have not altered the gamma on their PC
