Well people. It's been an incredible year, been around you all. But I must say I'll be off for quite some time, starting November 28th.
I've recently been hired as a photographer for a Cruise Ship here in Brazil. The ship's name is R6 Blue Dream, owned and operated by Pullmantur Cruises, a spanish cruise company. It'll be 6 long months in the ocean, but I'll get the chance to build up an incredible portfolio, places and people I'll get to meet, that I've never dreamed of (all of the South coast of Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Patagonia and Chile). After 3 months in Brazil I'll be headed to Europe for some other 3 months on the Mediterranean (Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece and some other countries). Not to mention the fabulous pay by the end of the month!
Well, I'm pretty anxious, and very nervous about it all, LoL.
Wish me luck. From time to time I'll try to post something for you guys, some of my experience, and of course, try to participate on the challenges, but they'll be not as often as I used to participate.
Thank you very much for an incredible year I had here, lots of what's happening to my life right now, I own to you guys, to the things I learned here, to the ppl that helped me out!
I still have some two weeks, but it'll be as if I wasn't here anymore!
Thank you ppl, and I'll be "seeing" you all, some other time next year!
World, here I go.......

Hehe, a job. I guess it's more commonly used in the context of musicians paying gigs.

Oh my gosh how exciting!!!!! What an awesome opportunity for you! Sounds like a job of a lifetime. You will have so much fun. learn tons, and have a great time all in one.

Being away for a while is ok, but don't even think about a permanent escape from this madness. You are too big a part of our community for that to be allowed. Be safe and send word when you can. Bon Voyage!

Cruise ship opught to have internet access; they mostly do in the Carribbean anyway, I know that. Drop us a note now and then, and good luck!

They do but it's pricy, and they charge by the minute. Maybe Scuds will get privileges that passengers don't though.
