Bad idea, altogether. Serious potential for vote-warping there. It might be fun if there were an invisible thread we could post these predicitions to, that would reveal itself when voting closed, but otherwise very Bad idea I think.

eh, I'd rather just try and guess my own score in upcoming challenges... for the current (landscapes) I guessed 5.35 +/- .15, and so far it's looking like I'll be correct...
even though I'd rather be wrong, it's useful to see that I can sometimes gauge the reaction to my photos. |

I think that I'd only ever tip mine to win if either I was joking or very much influenced by alcohol.
