Bike! :)

Did some editing on this one btw, not happy with the engine area (noise), but how do you like the rest of it when it comes to dodging and burning possibilities (already did some)? The bright spot at the right contains no useful info, would need some more work.

Forgot to take my camera with me on its first ride, went via all the small backroads and saw a lot of photogenic country life. :(

I've just bought a new bike as well, though the engine isn't quite as powerful as yours.

Only done 290 miles on it so far, but reached a top speed of 44mph!

Sander, I thik this post belongs under "hardware"... that's some very nice new hardware!
I'm jealous. It'll be a year or two before I upgrade.

I like your bike Gordon, at least I can outpace you with mine. :)
But not on my MTB (its on slicks, because I use it to race in cities), my fitness level is below zero. :(

Its going to be hard to save for a camera because of all that rubber and fuel I'm going to burn. :)))

What can I say? I recently got myself some photo gear too. And now that we are showing off chrome and go-faster stripes, I might as well show off mine too!

What can I say? She tops out at 95 miles an hour (downhill only, obviously) and does a whole lot of miles to the gallon. Can be parked anywhere, has a CD player and enough space for me and my photo gear. Oh, and notice the Che-Guevara star on the roof ;)

Good choice on the bike before the camera.

I would have gone with a Harley though, but two wheels are two wheels and bikes are so much fun.

93 FXLR Low Rider here.

Have a great time on it this summer

I say go with the bike. I looked at capability of your current camera and quite a few dpc'ers use your camera that produce ribbons. Since you have a good camera, I say go for the bike. Just don't try to do ride and shoot at the same time. Unless you are a trained professional.
Your chariot aways you.

Heh - there is a reason they call the area I live in the 'hill country'
Last week was a 30 minute climb and I needed that bottom chainring! (though the 40+mph downhill was worth the climb) Now if I can just work out the D60 mount and sweat resistant case...

Actually I came up with a cool way to connect a video-camera to a bike.. If I can find the article I wrote about it, I will post it here. Hmmh. *starts searching*

Azrifel, what a cool bike, I am jealous. I almost bought that very same bike a couple years ago (the "Standard style" bike), same model I think. I bet you love it!

So for the speed challenge, why not try a picture while you're going 130mph down some road!

My friend put his video camera inside his tank bag and aimed it straight through the windscreen it made for some really great footage. He's got a 2003 Yamaha YZF R6. I almost got myself a 2003 Ducati Monster but went with four wheels and a 10D instead.

At bike rallies there are always folks with video cameras mounted. Still cameras I have only see a few and they aren't top of the line models.
I have an old Nikon 950 that I've tried around my neck while riding..it works, but poorly.

It has got to be broken in first. But I've already got something else for the speed challenge. :)

I crashed the fist standard 1998 model, had this 2001 model (shared it with my old man, it's now his) and now upgraded to the 2003 spec bike. :)
And o yes, do I love it. :)
