I've seen it advertised alot, but haven't heard much feedback on it. Whose used it? What are you're opinions on it? and How does it compare to other polarizers?

I just bought and received the Cokin-P 173 Varicolor Blue/Yellow which is comparable to the Singh-Ray B&G. The effects are awesome, just used it yesterday....but as with most things some love it.... some hate it. The effects can be really intense and almost supernatural looking. If you would like some examples shoot me a PM and I can send you a pic or two taken with the filter.

I personally don't own any Singh-Ray filters but from what I've read, they are the Cadillac of filters. For examples of some of the work that can be done with the Singh-Ray filters, check out TimeCatcher and look for Patrick's work. I believe he uses Singh-Ray exclusively and I think he produces some great images.

Cokin P-173 Blue - Overcast rainy day.

Cokin P-173 Yellow - Overcast and Dark.

Moose Warming Polarizer

Depending on the effect you are looking for you may want to check out a Moose Warming Polarizer, which to me anyways, has a more natural effect. I have just started experimenting with the Cokin P-173, I may like it better with more use. Since many compare the Cokin with the Singh-Ray I wanted to see if I liked the effect enough to outlay the considerable price difference between the two. My two cents for what it's worth.......

The P-173 looks interesting. I may have to get one to play with.
