I am new on DPC (5 days or so) and I voted on challenges today.
What I think the problem is, too many beautyfull photos are being
posted without any post preocessing (or very bad PS skills).
Maybe some of you belive that post precessing is kind of cheeting
in photography, but it is necesery to make a great photo.
DPC has rules that alow levels/curves, saturation(desaturation)
and so on... I don't know if they alow brightness/contrast. If you do,
fill me in on it.
Anyway, my point is that people should learn how to use those basic
adjustments to improve their photos. Those alowed adjustments are not
difficult to learn couse they take up to 10 seconds of work.
USE LEVELS/CURVES!
USE COLOR SATURATION!
USE BRIGHTNES/CONTRAST (if alowed in challenges - not sure about it)

These make your photo 10 times better and pleasing for viewers eye.
I gave a high grade for all those photos that are really beautyfull
but they miss some basic adjustment. Maybe other people don't.
This is just a sugestion to everyone out there with photographic skill
that can be pointed out much more just in few mouse clicks.

Oh, yea...I don't know any good tutorial links to post in here.
All I know I learned myself, but if you know, post them here.
I hope this sugestion helps couse alot of people said this before
and there are still too many great photos missing those adjustments

So much text for so little said? sorry :-)
