58mm Hoya R72 would be your best bet.

What is the avg. price on the IR filter?
Does anyone know a site that excepts paypal to buy one?
I have some extra paypal money to blow!

I paid about $40 for mine with 47.stphoto on ebay. They're extremely reliable and take paypal. If you want one faster than their auction, call the number on their ads. You'll get a real person and the same price.

Okay. I got my R72 filter. I've put some test shots on pbase.
These were quick shots taken handheld just to see how things came out. As well as the IR filter, I used an NDx4 filter and a polariser. But I think these are still a little bright (the 'F707 is fully auto in Nightshot mode, so you can't adjust aperture or exposure). I've now got an NDx8 and NDx2 on order, so will try some more when I get these.
I also made a little cardboard 'doughnut' to cover over the IR emitters - seems to work OK.

| Hey I had a similar question, I have the Canon G5 and was wondering if there was an IR filter that would work with it? |

I paid $44 at Canoga camera for 52mm Hoya 72,works well!
