well im buying a new camera and have decided on the nikon d70s what kind of memory card should i go for. also anyone who has this camera, wich size should i get if i like to have alot of memory so its hard to use up

I don't have your camera, but currently i'm using a Lexar 12X high speed card. I've got a 1Gig, and a 152mb and i love the speed.

THIS should answer your question. Lexar 12x cards are actually pretty slow. A 40x card or better will get the most from your camera.

I think with the negiligible amount of difference among the cards in blue in the chart that scalvet poisted, that any of those cards would do. You should be able to take about 130-150 pictures with a d70 on a 512mb card on x-fine JPEG I think. If you're shooting RAW, go with the 1 or 2Gb, the 512 will fill up too fast.

Consider a portable storage device to bring in the field with you and download your cards when they've filled up. Cheaper than buying many cards and almost limitless capacity...
