Use Nikon Point and Shoots when photographing the crime scenes?
Now This season it looks like they have moved on to Nikon DSLR's, are they using D70's? I can't get a good look..

Google didnt produce much info-- but I mangaged to find this tidbit--

"Grissom, et. al. use the Nikon F5 fitted with a multi-control back for photographing crime scene elements. As of the 5th season, this is no longer true. Most have different cameras: e.g. Warrick uses either a Nikon D70 or Nikon D100."

I was watching CSI tonight and notice the brand name of the camera that the actors were useing. I just think it was a prop....better if they used a cannon!!! :)

Every single episode uses a different camera, from a different manufacturer. Some weeks Canon, some weeks Nikon, SLRs, little point and shoots, I find it pretty funny.

I've been watching the show for several years now and for at least the last couple years they've been using Nikon for the main crime scene cameras.

They're also using Apple Powerbooks, I've noticed.
