I would be very interested ... a chance to meet the boy wonder and the funny man. How much do we have to pay if we aren't Joey or Slippy? If it costs too much, I'm willing to put a second mortgage on my house!!

I'm from the Niagara Peninsula, so I'll leave the place up to people who know some cools places in TO. The areas I know of are probably too touristy ... Distillery District, Harbour Front, Queen Street.

A weekend for maximum participation? Anytime after October 16 is good for me.

You guys do know it's cold in Toronto in November...

Not only is the frost on the punkin,
the punkin is frozen solid.

I'll look forward to the pictures from my vantage point here.

I lived in S.F. for 5 months. Toronto in November = S.F. in August. :)

Heh, Heh.
Well, it does make for nice brisk sales of those cuddly, warm sweatshirts that say "Alcatraz" on them.

I like the zoo idea or wherever really, I don't know if the zoo is open in October or November though.

Who could make it? Me if you paid my airfare, or that Harley I've always wanted.

What would we do? Take pixtures of Moose, and drink.

When would it be? As soon as I get the tickets, or the pinkslip.

Where would it be? In between Moose country, and a beer distillery.

Why would we do it? Because we can, and you like me.

How can we make it happen? Start raising money, and I will be there, garunteed.

Thanks in advance.

Dangit, why do you all live so stinkin far away? If I had the money for a plane ticket, I'd be there in a heartbeat. :)

Crap. Well, have fun without me. :/

Well, long overdue for a trip to the greater TO area.

Maybe I could make it.
Just maybe
Depends on if slippy and joey come
Hehe

But I will have to bring some good Quebec microbrews to drink...
The wine is cheaper in Ontario though...

Anyways, as long as I'm not doing something else.. maybe, count me in

I've edited the original post to add a date, October 15, and a place, The Toronto Zoo.

The zoo is open from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Parking is $8 and admission is $19.

That date just happens to be about the only free weekend I'll have for a year, as the wife & kids go up to the cottage each year for a girls' weekend at the Cranberry Festival.

What would be a good meet-up time? We could set an early meet-up time, but I could also give my cell # to everybody in case you're late.
Can you get yourself there, Joey?
Who else can make it?

well, if you want to go by zookeeper times it helps.. the polar bears are very active as the keeper who is there then feeds them and they move around and are in and out of the water. Thats when you get the best pics of them.
10 am works as it gives people time to say hi then wander to the siberian tigers who are fed at 11am. Thats when I took the pic of the tiger eating. The polar bears are fed at noon.
i'm coming from the humber loop, so if someone needs a ride hollar and we can make arrangements
