My sister-in-law has one of her Grandfather and her little boy taken 81 years apart that have look identical

My mother had me put together photos like that, also. Pretty much identical, except the angle a touch off. My mom also wants to get a picture of my dad, myself and the 1 year old, lined up, for a picture. She thinks it is pretty creepy, also.

You think that's creepy. Try going to a family reunion, where all the women - older and younger generations, mothers, daughters, cousins, and whatnot "all" have the same eyes. This happened to me when my grandmother, who thought she was the last of her family, learned that she had a whole additional extended family in Alberta (two brothers had parted ways back in the late 1800's - one went east, the other went west). I think the "same eyes phenonomen" was caused by intermarriages between two particular families over the years. It's funny - no one else noticed it except me.

Recently I saw a picture of my grandfather when he was in his twenties. It is amazing how much I look like him. My mother first thought that it was a picture of me! She asked why I was dressed in a uniform (my grandfather was in the Navy) :).
