Hey everyone!

After seeing how many people enjoyed the last movie I posted here awhile ago, it has been decided I will post another very, very, very compressed one. :-)

Okay, so anyway- I needed some community service hours (you need 40 to pass highschool in Canada) and one of my teachers wanted a video made up to promote his chess club. He wanted me to make chess exciting... Sheesh, right? ;-p

So anyway I followed around his little chess people for a few days for the techno intro and videotaped random groups of people holding a chess board and yelling "CHESS ROCKS" (my teachers idea)
I even asked this one famous Catholic bishop guy to do it- it was scary.

Then we wanted to do a Star Wars parody, so that is the second part. It's got the same guy in it from the last movie but also starring yours truly. We are both doing over-the-top, stupid-funny acting. The light sabres are really pieces of wood and effects were added in frame by frame afterwards- (pretty much how I got a lot of community hours.) :-p

So anyway, I'll also note at the end I had to cut out a scene after I lightsaber-stab the teacher because he didn't want it to go on the internet. Basically, what happens is... You know on Star Wars when Obi Wan disappears when Vader hits him? Yeah it was like that except only I made his clothes fall off and him standing there shirtless pretending to be naked. One of the funniest scenes in the movie, but I had to cut it for his personal preference. But pretty much my whole school has seen it anyway... Oh well... It still works without it.

Enjoy!

Launch the movie!

hahaha brilliant! even without the 'chess wars' segement, it was still very entertaining. do you use these films for school? or sell them on the black market?

Some very nice scenes in there, Joey. The light sabre animations and sound editing were spot on. Especially liked looking at that action through the closing stairwell door. You got that perfect. Some great scene transitions and camera angles as well. Much more polished than the first effort. You're on your way, man. I'm sure you'll never stop learning and challenging yourself - the blueprint for success.

The fart scene is too much. I'm laughing at my desk at work & everyone thinks - well, knows... - I'm crazy. Well done.

Hey, I couldn't resist! That wailing/moaning/crying/temper tantrum scene was too much. He's just too damn lovable. :)

But yeah. *says in her blonde haired cheerleader voice* "I want a lifesize poster of that guy over my bed! He's so hoooooooot..."
lol

Actually, I was referring to the fart scene in my first reply...that is such a boy thing. : )

Fantastic work Joey ... I laughed, I cried, I'd see it again and again!

BTW, I think this is how M. Night Shyamalan got his start!

Like I said above, that one was a promotional video for the school chess club. :-)

Don't worry, I laugh manically too, usually without reason :-D

I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants. Feeling lazy right now. I actually put in a few hours of work today. Have you ever seen the infamous "Star Wars Kid" stuff?
