Okay lets try this again!
Anyone who wants Slippy's last free membership post here with a reason.
I don't care what it is, but if you put your name down, and i want to know more, i will PM you and ask.
I still have Jessiroo, Ennil and anyone that PM'd me on the list from the original thread.

| I would glady take a free membership, I've been a general member (i guess you'd say) since April of this year & since I have been submitting pictures & voting on challenges I have seen alot of improvement with my pictures. I love seeing the different ideas people come up with for challenges & would love to become more involved with the site. |

I want to nominate Goldberry
Not sure if she really wants it but she is the most active Registered user I know of.
Also Ennil who has already been nominated is a very good choice also.
Oh what the hell you give it to the first most nominated person and I will give another.

I'm gonna throw my vote on Goldberry if she's out of the states. I don't really know where Del Boca Vista is offhand. I'm not sure if that is in Mexico. It looks like she could probably swing the membership on her own without too much difficulty unless she is out of area, but her work is good enough that she at least deserves a nod.
Otherwise, Ennil ought to be it. She seems to have enough cash flow to be picking up some really fun toys off in Turkey and in surprisingly far-flung areas, but there are some things money can't buy. In certain countries, that includes DPC memberships.
If lentil's boys want to post to a portfolio, they can post to a folder in their mom's. They can join a mentorship group through their mom's account (and build a family project too, great fun). The only thing they can't do is enter member challenges.
Same with Jessiroo.
I'm not saying that any of the choices are less deserving, but Ennil likely has more of a need of an alternate method of obtaining a membership. |

I nominate Artyste since his membership expired and he has difficulty paying through paypal. He's Canadian. He's also a damn fine photographer and I miss seeing his work since his untimely "expiration." :)

Well I have only been here a few months but I really like this site, when I found dpc I quit photosig and deviantart because I like the format here much better. About 14 months ago I was injured at work and after establishing a workman’s compensation claim I was fired, yes I know they "CAN'T DO THAT" but rest assured they did, and it has been a battle ever since, in the mean time I have been unable to find replacement employment and as such I am unable to afford a membership here.
I am sure there are others who are more deserving than I but I just thought I would throw my hat into the ring. Thanks for your consideration.

I'd Like A Membership...
I'm Just too Much Of A Tight-Fist When It Comes To Money. I Have Been Tempted To Get A Membership,Especially After Seeing Some Of The Challenge Entries,But Spending $25 Just So I Can Feel Like A Schlub Just Doesn't Register In My Head.

I want the membership so I can then start a multi-faceted approach to further discredit this site by having multiple raffles/contests to give it away! ;-P
Just kidding, actually I would like my wife to join, but we can afford it, I just have to convince her.

| ill be shameless and nominate myself. I'd love to be a member but every extra 30$ I get goes to my groceries as a poor college kid, (or in the bank so I can take out smaller loans). Don't think I have money by looking at the equipment on my profile, most of it is owned by my school newspaper and I just use it for assignments. I participate a pretty decent amount I think, also give more comments than I receive. There's nothing special besides that...but it'd be nice to have a membership. |
