no such thing as over edited. whatever the artist feels is right for him is his style. i like to edit a lot too and this one is not over at all.

I like the edited version!!
I think it improves the original image and maintains photographical integrity.

your edges particulary around the caf are a little jaggity - might be compression - but i find the editted version a much stronger image.
Not at all "too edited" :D

which one is the edited version? Well either way I like the one on top better. Being able to see the sky gives dimension to the picture. With the white one, it doesn't look like he's jumping anywhere, in fact, it appears as if he's laying down on a white floor.

Actually - I liked the white one better until I read this. I think the reason we know conclusively that he's jumping is that your presented the one with the clouds with it. It doesn't look like he's laying on a floor, but the clouds do give context. Perhaps you should just brighten the first one, and play with contrast. Clouds aren't a bad thing.

yes, it is overdone- unless you crop ou the rock, then ok...

Yes, imo it is overdone. Giving it a solid white background gives me the impression that the real background was completely cut out, whereas the first version with the gray cloudy background looks natural and has a stronger photographic impact.

The edit looks very nice. I'd stick with that.
