Does anyone know a website through which I can purchase a replacement battery door? I dropped my Rebel last weekend and destroyed a 50mm 1.8 (yikes, that lens is cheaply made) and broke the battery door.

Buy the grip and you no longer need the door. |

Yeah, that was my first thought. But, if I ever want to be more compact and go without a grip, I need the door. Not to mention if I ever want to upgrade it would make sense to have a battery door to try and sell it. |

Thanks Corwyn. I just called Canon Usa (1-800-828-4040) and ordered the part directly from them for $13 shipped. Weird that I couldn't find that item on Ebay. I looked there, partstore.com, b&h, adorama, and several others. |

Yeah. I was actually quite impressed. I had their parts department on the line in less than 2 minutes and the part ordered no more than 5 minutes later. Very friendly service reps as well. |
