I pulled one from the queue - but dont want to critique it.
How do I get another one?

Reason:
- 160x160, brown ribbon, not a first time user, has submitted larger entries in the past. Why would I want to waste time?

delete your cookies from your internet folder... that should do the trick...

Ahh... Thanks for the tip! LOL I have wanted to do that on a number of occasions. (And I really should have thought of it myself, given that I've managed QA departments for the last 10 years!)

I didn't even think we still had a Critique Club. Really, I'm serious. I guess I can start to check that Critiques button below my picture sometimes.

I asked how to be in the CC once (a long time ago) but never go a response.

I would love to be involved in the CC. Maybe I am and don't know it. :)

It seems as if you're spending more time trying to avoid the critique than it would take to just actually do it. ;) If all else fails, it'd only take a minute.

rikki - yes I did... LOL I sent you a response. Thank you (I think!).

SDW65 - There is indeed still a very active CC. hbunch has been trying to reinvigorate its responses in this thread. In it, she lists the two SC members to contact to become a member of CC. There are no prerequisites (although they try to recruit individuals who are both thoughtful and constructive in their comments) - neither of which I think you would have any problem with! There are always so many more requests than there are CC members to respond to them, it makes it seem like it's not working sometimes. However, I think that the provided feedback has greatly increased over the last couple of weeks. I'm sure they'd be happy to have you aboard too. :-)

Hope this helps... (And yes, thank you again rikki! LOL)

Jimmy

Something happened, it just went away.. not sure what.
(opening/closing browser or clearing cookies had not helped).

vfw, you should be all set to draw another photo out of the hat. I'm not officially a CC helper, but I can't stand the fact that you're not making other crits cause this one was in your way. That image was put back in the list, so hopefully someone will give it a try.

Thanks SJ for the promotion.

SDW- I have sent you an email. You should be good to go. Just click on the community/critique club button and select an image. Thanks for your interest.

Rikki, last night there were 35 members who have been active this month. I personally thanked those members in the other thread. There are currently 389 images to critique.

Great to know Heather. I've been a busy bee travelling here and there but I'll get to do one soon :)

Geez...talk about wanting to skip a critique. I just drew Librodo's ribbon winner. Really there isn't much to add after 60 people already commented on it. I tried though, that's what counts I guess.

Finally made my second one and it's in the books. And of course, I get Manic's image :) Sorry Manic that I made my comments sound like a Jerry Springer episode. You folks on the other side of the pond know who Jerry Springer is right? (obvious sarcasm there)

On to the next one.

edit to correct myself about the number of critiques given :)

hmmm... actually I've left a critique like that prior to receiving yours :) it's actually spelled out in the critique club "How to Leave Comments" (or something like that)... :)

I can almost hear it in the background... JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!

hahahahahahha.

Yah, that's where I got it from too.. but until now, was the only one I knew of that was using it. Sure makes the critiquing go a bit easier eh?

Yeah but you're forgetting Jerry's famous last words : And now for my Final thoughts

By the way thanks for your critique. And yes I forgot to put the information on there but it was a high key image and not just a blown exposure. It's a technique I'm trying out. Love to hear your opinion on my other high key shots :) ... ok it's a shameless plug for comments :)

Hahaha!

Excellent comments guys...I should try organizing my giant jumble of words I call a critique into some kind of cool thing like you got going. Although my comments highly resemble me...just kind of babble. I'm sure someone gets something out of it. Maybe I'll try that organization thingy. Tomorrow.
